Thumbs down VDC Off, Slip, and SES light come on when driving

The car is an 04 5AT Coupe. As the title says, my VDC Off, Slip, and Service engine soon light will come on shortly after driving the car. This started to happening yesterday and it happened 3 times during the course of the day. The car starts up fine, but shortly after driving the car for 20 minutes the car will rise in rpm's (like it was shifted into neutral while my foot was on the gas), then it will drop back to normal rpm's and then all three lights will come on. If I turn the car off and restart it, the lights are no longer there. But if I drive it again for another 20 minutes the same thing will happen. I did a search on this issue and noticed that it might be the Camshaft position sensor, but according to other members they had a hard time starting their cars and when it eventually started that is when the lights came on. These 3 lights in my car don't come on when I start the car, but after about a 20 minute drive. So I am not sure if it is exactly the same problem. I also noticed that it may be because my brake fluid is low, I am at work now but I can check that when I get home. Also I am not sure this is relevant or not, but the day before this started to happen I got a full alignment done at a shop recommended by local Driver members. My car is lowered on 350z Tein S-Techs with Ichiba front and rear camber kits. The alignment brought my car in spec for the most part. I don't really think this has anything to do with it, but can it be a possibility? I haven't pulled any codes yet since it just happened yesterday, but I will soon. Has this particular situation happened to anyone else? Any recommendations as to how to go about fixing it? Thanks in advance guys.

Same thing happened to me, the lights would come on if I accelerated hard. Topping off my brake fluid solved the problem.

Good luck!

I hope it is just low brake fluid, but I can check that out later today after work. Any other suggestions?

i had the same problem about 2 years ago but two questions to ask you guys.. how are you guys loosing break fluid, my brake fluid has stayed the same never topped it off ever in 5 years since i had to car. But my other input is that when this happened to me my tech told me that the computer is indicating vibration and slip and results in that your pads or rotors may have to be replaced. I do not know how true that is but this guy is the only guy i trust with my car...

Pull the code for the CEL.

I have an 03 Coupe 5AT and it did the samething. I pulled the code and it was the cam position sensor.

i get the same problem, but instead of slip vdc off and SES i get slip, vdc off and the handbrake light. it only happens when i slam very hard on the brakes, so im guessing i need to change my pads soon.

The day I posted this, when I got back to my car guess what wouldn't start? Lol. I had to crank it about 10 times before it started. It is at the Infiniti dealership now since I have an extended warranty. So I believe it is the crank position sensors like other members had. The brakes were changed less than a year ago, so I don't think it is the brakes. Also, the brake fluid looked good. The dealership is going to fix it under warranty and they are also doing the airbag recall fix aswell. I know I could have changed both sensors myself, but why not get it done for free.
