His 2009 535 is bone stock

My 06 G35 Coupe 6MT has

-AEM CAI With K&N Filter
-Stillen Exhaust
-Test Pipes
-Ported Throttle Body
-Skunk2 Spacer
-B&M Short Throw
-Nismo Clutch Package With Flywheel

Also would I have the best chance from a Dig or a Roll.

the BMW says itll do 0-60 in 5.4. id take my chances in the G. go poop on the beemer. turbos are "transparent in those" however i wouldnt try against a 335i lol, thats a beast!

 

oh and do it from a dig at a drag strip man, not on a road, take it to the track and make a legal vid of it please!

I'm VERY surprised that everyone is saying the BMW. on the website it says it only has 300HP?! I've raced an 08 335 and beat it by half a car...

If you guys think i'm gonna get beat so bad should I use my 55 Shot of Nitrous?

 

I think you will have a good chance at winning. HP should be pretty close, and you will have the weight advantage.

 

I agree. I can't find any stats on how this would beat my car!

It says it only has twin turbos that only put out 300HP?! Our cars come stock with 298 and I have a few mods to help with that!

 

This will be done on a Drag Strip Legally so I can Video it

 

outcome of race also dpends on the driver. so if you have a badd day or good day never know.

 

bmw is weird at calculating HP the 300HP is before the turbo's or at them bosting at a very low psi...at least thats what a bmw tech told me about 335's

 

The 535 might be rated at 300 HP(almost the same as the G35 Coupe) but don't forget to realize the fact that it has almost 300 pounds of torque too. Your G35 Coupe is rated at around 260 Torque... 40 ft Lb's less than the BMW.

Gearing would also make a huge difference. I'm not sure how that BMW is geared in terms of gear ratios and final drive.

If I were to bet on that race, I would definitely put all my money on the BMW regardless of whether from a dig or a roll... even though the BMW is almost 200 pounds heavier.
