Re: warrenty void?

well...that will depend on the part that's broken...dont think an s/c will void the brake rotor n pad's warrenty, aftermarket exhaust has nothing to do with your watter pump being bad!the warrenty will be voided if the aftermarket stuff you put on have direct link to the broken part.

Re: warrenty void?

I heard that Nismo mods don't void the warranty. Anyone know anything about this?

Re: warrenty void?

Listen, basically the Magnus Moss or somethign Act states that if something goes wrong with your car (Engine,Exhaust etc.) and you have an aftermarket part on in place of the factory part, they have the right to look into it and most likely blame it on the aftermarket part, but without a doubt going forced induction (Turbo,SC) will void it from the start unless its done from a dealer who will give you a drivetrain and w/e warranty for however miles they say for your car, then your good! And kits like Stillen will give you a factory warranty, also depending on the dealer who you take it to or installs it, some are not even mod friendly to changing your intake or something minor. Re: warrenty void?

Basically, if something goes wrong with your car, and you have aftermarket parts, the dealer has to prove that your aftermarket parts caused the problem. If they cannot do this they have to honor the warranty.
