Hello All,

Last week my CEL came on. After OBD II scan I got the following error codes:

P0011 - Intake Valve Timing Control Performance Bank 1
P1283 - 02 Sensor

I reset the ECU and have driven probably about 100 miles worth of errands (small trips no more than 10 miles at a time). The light has not come back on however I still have the following problem:

Really loud Rattling noise
Whenever I rev say past 2k rpms, when the RPM falls - it falls below normal operation (say down to 200 rpms) and the oil light flash.

Through some research I have also heard that the CAM Shaft sensor might have gone bad and will cause sprocket noise. This may be the rattling noise I am hearing.

I did an oil change recently (last month 5 qts of 5w-30 mobil 1 synthetic and new mobil 1 filter), but folk have told me to start with an oil change because I may have crud in my engine blocking the solenoid.

ANY ADVICE HERE? WHERE TO BEGIN? WHAT TO FIX? CAN THE SOLENOID BE CLEANED OR DOES IT NEED TO BE REPLACED?
