It's true... The cycle repeats itself...
1. Buy a stock car thinking it's more reliable
2. Start throwing in mods, spend tons of $
3. You realize you want another car.
4. You regret throwing in all the $ on the mods...
5. You sell the car while losing a very marginal amount of the mod $

That's how I felt 4 years ago on my eclipse when I wanted the G, and that's how I feel now wanting a 911...

save your money and spend it in college. college life is fun and meaningful ( i mean a real university). Get a used sedan like GS300, accord, camry, any SUV...etc will get you quite popular.

also, you will always screw up your first car in someway. So i would not advise to you get a fast or nice car.

I finally figured out my username and password. Im 19 now and have used the money I saved up and purchased a 04 Touring 350z. Just thought i would share my newly purchased car cause i love it. Like the post says, i was driving a 2000 pathfinder. My insurance actually went down haha. Not complaining about that. Anyways, thought i'd share this
