When I test drove the G the torque felt massive coming from a buick regal but now I'm used to it but still satisfied. Once I get art pipes and a motordyne spacer I'll be a happy camper

i just stretched my tires and lowered my car so the fenders sit on the tire, that gave me a VERY noticeable gain in performance

Bugatti develops an Air brake and you do one better and develop a fender/tire brake.

That right dur is called "Redneck Engineering"

yah actually what happens is that the tire that gets rubbed off melts and lays itself back on the tire thus proving a stronger grip and in turn this translates to more ponypower to the wheels
it's a rare find and I am entering it for the noble prize soon

You deserve it as much as all of the designers that worked on Hindenburg

For me I think its between adequate and decent. I have an '03 sedan and an '06 Xterra and its the fastest car I've owned. Any car could be faster and it be ok...

super slow for me, all my friends have waaay faster cars than me and i came from a z3M which was hella fast for me ( and i grew up in a family of highly modded supras and exotics) but im happy with what it can do for DD. like mentioned get on the bike for power and speed and use the G as a rain coat

I'm with Adamls2, I used it as a daily driver, and decided to garage it since I now have my 240SX 92 5MT Fastback with an S14 Blacktop.

I wanted more power so I got the S13 with SR20DET. I'm satisfied for now. Now I can smash on most cars for an engine that's almost 20 yrs old.

When I pay off the G, hopefully the VQ will be cheaper to buy so I can build a VQ34DET.

Coming from a V6 eclipse, this car gave me the biggest adrenaline rush the first time I floored it. Since then I've never looked back. Stock, the car has more than enough power for daily driving. But I'm an ambitious person, so 400whp is a on the radar

I had a v6 eclipse prior to my G also.

When I first bought the G, I thought it was fast as hell.
The thing about power is like money... You can NEVER have too much.

I am not complaining about the power but I just wish it had more low / mid hp/torque.

I bought my G mainly because I couldn't afford the S5 or 911 at the time.
Now with my mods keeping it as a daily, Mrev 2 5/15 MD spacers, exhaust and Uprev tune coming, I think I'll be satisifed. The thing about cars with 300+ HP is that you'll have all the power you'll ever need on the streets / freeway.

I've always wanted other cars like Cayman S, Audi S5 or a Carrera S...
But after putting some mods into the G, I start to ask myself...

Is it worth it to spend another $30k for a car that's not that much more faster...?
