OMG.. Did I buy a used G with FRAME DAMAGE? Please LOOK (pics inside)

Bought this G coupe last week from an auction.
04, Clean title.

While looking under the car i found these weird spots with some type of substance on them... I know nothing about car frames, or how to spot frame damage. But it looks like the body was welded back together..
Am I wrong??

Did you run a carfax or autocheck? If you did and it came back clean you may qualify for a buy back if carfax/autocheck certified it. Honestly, if it doesn't drive like chit who cares?

The autocheck report came back clean.
No accidents no frame damage...

It rides pretty shaky.. I thought it might be my 20 in rims.. but idk..

That isn't from the factory. The factory uses robots to weld and they do a hell of a lot better than that.

Not gonna lie, those welds look pretty ****ty, something has definitely been repaired. Not sure what from the photos though.

Buying a car that has previously been in an accident is a risk you take when purchasing a used car. If it doesn't have a salvaged title I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I would say it depends on how much you bought it for, if you paid the same amount as you would for a clean car then i would be pissed but if you bought it at a good price, drives good, and having a clean title i would keep it

It's probably NORMAL. I've seen another photo where there was BONDO all over and people said it was normal. I'll try to find that pic.

CarFax does not help much. My used 06 6MT has definitely been wrecked and repaired. Completely clear CarFax. I've had two cars of my own that have been wrecked and repaired by me, no insurance claim, no police report....clear CarFax.

anything i buy at auction is always as-is where-is

an 03 Murano sold last week, book was 12K, guy got it for 4500. sure, there is risk involved, but thats why you never pay retail at an auction!

if that is your rear suspension, mine looks very similar, i'd imagine thats how it came from the factory.

From the looks of it the frame has been damaged. Have u had an alignment or does the car look whop or lop sided when u look at it from the back or front? Does something look out of place? These would be signs that the car has major frame damage.

There is no longer term effect on frame damage; however, if the car is hit in a certain place the frame might not be repairable or if it is.. they will have to put it on a frame machine to pull the frame back into place.. Which aint cheap

It is the rear of my car..
The car shakes on the highway when i drive past 60mph..
I thought it was my aftermarket wheels...
Also it needs an alignment super bad.
