Use to own a E46. It all depends on how long the race is. BMWs have great first and second gearing, but third is weak. If it's a 0 to 60 run, then you need to be on your toes. If it's a 0 to 100 run, then you'll have him. If it is a rolling start at highway speeds, then it won't be a problem. I've raced MANY 330is and even the ZHP. The ZHP wasn't an easy kill, but I took him anyway. 10 horsepower didn't make that much of a difference. You have the horsepower and torque advanage, but he has the tranny and gearing advantage.

Yea i think i will disregard that statement also, ignorance at its finest..

Well all i have ot say is drive your best, no room for mistakes while racing a 330 unless its an auto!!

Exactly, how many times do i have to say it's the driver's race????? a good 330 manual driver will definately keep up with a G35 coupe. It's a really close race none the less.
