New owner to 2007 coupe..gas tank problem

Won't let me pump has as if itwas full had fix once at infiniti dealer now problems back.any one know wtf is up with this.i just cussed out the dealer that sold me the car.they said they cant fix it to take it back to infiniti

I have had a problem something.. like that. What I did was go to another gas station and worked fine... it's a sensor that is located somewhere in the line where u put the nozzle at.. i can't think of the name.. (resending sensor or something like that). After trying another station doesn't fix it then you will have to carry it back to the infiniti dealership

Lol I'll try.long haul to infiniti would such closest is two hours away

it just does not pump at all, trigger on the pump lets go right away?

It erl let me get tho 3 gallons them stop.and yes my tank is empty

check out this thread, gas tank never goes full!, it's still on the first page. seems similar.
only thing is yours is a 2007 .... not an 03-04 ... recall does not apply.

does this happen all the time?
I would try one of those old school gas stations with the crappy pumps to see if the problem still occurs.

U can all try: not putting the nozzle all the way in (yea i know what i said) it might work since the pump nozzle would not trigger the sensor/switch.

Dealer will FIX THIS FOR FREE. There is no recall but there is a TSB. I posted this on another thread. I had my 06 repaired under warranty. Meaning no charge. Take it to the dealer before your Warranty Expires.
