Did everyone here read that he wants something for laser detection?? There is no point in buying a detector if it is for the specific defense against lasers. Knowing that you got hit and they already have your speed really isn't that helpful. Your only real option left is jammer type technology.

Now if you want to detect radar and the likes then go ahead and get one of the commonly recommended detectors, I love my v1...

also one more thing i need to add...you have to drive smart..you cant go in buying a v1 and expect to be ticket free...ontop of the v1 you need to have some common sense while driving..if you drive smart and have a v1 i can almost gurantee you wont get a ticket..but v1 alone wont save you from tickets..trust me

No if you want a laser jammer v1 is not the right choice. You need a laser jammer!

Haha look at laser jammer reviews. This prevents the laser gun from getting a reading initially and gives you time to slow down.

Radar detector (V1, Redline, 9500xi, etc) will do just that. It will detect laser but not jam it. It would be an early warning sign (with no laser jammer) that you're screwed

If you get hit by a laser you're pretty much done for. Best bet is just to get a laser jammer, if it is legal or illegal in your area.

You're to use a laser jammer and detector together. Once the detector goes off, slow down to the speed limit and turn your jammer off so that the officer can get a speed reading.
