On a side note, it's not the best thing to lend money interest-free to the IRS like that

Go for rims, sway bars, plenum... my opinion only.

-either get some lowering springs or some coils (coils would be the more expensive option)
-some nice rims (rims really do transform the look of your car)
-tint your windows (fairly inexpensive)
-new body kits (front/rear bumper or maybe a hikkata dori hood)
-osiris tune
-good tune up/alignment
-I would get the MRev2 along with the plenum spacer combo
-intake

thats all I can think of but you can combine 3 or 4 of these and still have some change left

lol megans... I don't think anyone chooses those even at the entry coilover price zone you are referring to.

Don't bother with the mrev2 since you're 5AT.

Coilovers, wheels, camber kits, tint.

My thoughts exactly... I'll be honest I was especially taken aback by the "only" getting $2500 part as well.

Definitely go this route. It'll make the car look completely different. In a good way of course... depending on your wheels.. lol

I can't tell you what you need to spend money on but here's where I'd spend $2500:

EBC slotted rotors front & rear.
EBC Yellow Stuff pads front and rear.
Stainless brake lines.
Tokico DC shocks and struts.
Hotchkis (or similar) sways front and rear.
New ultra high performance summer tires.

$2500 not including labor but I'll do most of it.

I currently have a total of $0.00 available for this project.

If I have $2500 to spend and I already have OEM 19, I would just get good coilovers, camber kit, spacers, swaybar and endlinks. You can get all this for around $2500. I would save up again another $3K and get some really good wheels that you really want instead of settling.
