Thanks! Yeah I have not gotten around to taking any pics other than with my phone but I will upload some decent camera pics as soon as I have time to take them! Yeah I'm just hand washing from now on.

 

Wash, clay, glaze, and wax. Always wash it yourself if you want it to last.

i took my car in for service at the dealer ship and there is this nice 1 foot long scratch mark on my ****ing roof after they washed it.. you cant trust anything but yourself to washing your car

i took my car to a cheap gas station auto wash, worst mistake ever...i was in Carlsbad, CA and i couldn't find a car wash that took card and I didn't have any cash. Now I have scratches and swirls like crazy..good info though, I didn't know I could get them out by going to a detail shop. +1

 

For anyone wanting to use a detailer. Try to find a detailing shop with an established reputation. Hopefully one that someone you know has previously used. I think we have all seen cars that have buffer marks all over them. Detailers use rotary buffers that when used by someone that's trying to make a quick buck or inexperienced can do more damage than good.
