I might have to decide against the G35. Sad day
Hey man I just sold my 98 prelude to buy my g35 and the prelude is a great car by far (not better than the G lol) and there really easy to work on.you made a good choice by getting the M/T because the auto is a POS but I do have to warn you the h22 motor eats up oil especially if you are going to be getting on the vtec alot(5200 rpm) so just be careful and check your oil level.
Good luck with it and try not to sink to much $$$ into it because they arnt really that fast
So just save up some $$ and when you think u have enough saved sell the prelude and buy by the G

Is the prelude alot better on gas?
POS = PIECE OF &(&#
Getting on vTec alot means launching car and JOY RIDE.
If you want a fast car with gas mileage. The only one I've found so far that is decent on both is Celica GTS, RSX-S but then again I am bias on those so

Type S or the Prelude?
I had an 04 rsx-s it was fun I suppose. I used to like preludes. Mine was also comptech supercharged. I miss it time to time but comparing to the G, it's a different level, also much more fuel economical
..
Never drove a prelude just sat in a few.

Why do preludes and Acuras suck? Just curious to your reason behind that...
Getting on vtec=your vtec on the prelude h22a kicks in at 5200 rpm it's like a little boost from 5200 rpm untill Redline it's not really noticeable but you'll feel the extra Lil power.some people well drive there car in the vtec range I usually use to shift my gears in the prelude around 4krpm..
As far as gas goes it sucks my g is way better on gas than the prelude.if u want something good on gas go with a Honda civic with a d15 motor if u just need something to commute with.
The prelude is a really reliable car as long as it wasn't dogged out real bad from the previous owners
I'm not really into toyotas and lexus' even the supra I'd rather get something Nissan made then a supra.
My last car was a 2000 Prelude TypeSH. Great car, fun to drive.. I think it handled turns better then my g35
Reliable, better on gas. The vtec was actually really nice on the prelude.. the car screams when it kicks in.
No regrets owning one.

Ok dude im right in your boat. My parents bought me a G35 when i was 15 and a half so i could practice driving it. The only deal was when i turned 16 i would have to get a job and pay off the Loan (they payed for Insurance). It wasnt to bad like 275 a month but it was worth it. Im still only 16 but man i love this car. IT HAS TO BE ONE OF THE NICEST CARS IN THE SCHOOL PARKING LOT (except for my friends corrvette).
ALSO
NICE CAR + NOT TO BAD LOOKING MAN = HELLA CHICKS and P_ _ _ _Y.
if your into that kind of stuff

You definitely need to stay in school if you can't even spell P_ _ _ Y right.
