yeah i had the same problem about 3 months ago..bought a new window motor..was fine for about a month and it is doing the same thing as before...what could this be????

 

Okay so after hitting the door a couple of times the window just went down. further (womp womp). I brought the car to my friends shop, took the door panel off and followed the DIY on how to clean the motor... I'm proud to say its working again! Thanks guys for all the help. I appreciate it!

 

I can't believe this worked! Just above the back end of the armrest worked for me.

man, i replaced window switch and motor which got the window working again. Same problem returned a month later. Tried Cleaneing motor and still wont roll up. Finally decided to take the window regulator apart and cleaned it thoroughly(the mechanical rails that hold the window). Then regreased everything. Window now rolls up smoothly and faster as the day I bought it from the dealer.

I also put back the old switch and motor and works just fine. It was never a motor issue in my case. Just dirty rails that needed grease
