Cant find the tab !!
Cant find the tab !!
05 Coupe 6MT
A few days ago I was claning the leather, and pulled the tab for the back seat to drop down, then put it back up after.
Today I went to do a few more spots, but the tab I pulled is no longer there it is not visible at all !
So I think the tab got pinched or something just below the top of the seat where it usually sticks out... but I have no way of knowing since i cant open it.
How the heck can i fix this ??
or picturess?

From the top? I'm assuming the back seats since the front seats can tilt forward via the handles on the side of the seat..
Kind of confused since these tabs are built into/onto the seat so unless if I'm thinking something differently.. don't see how the tabs can just disappear.

Go inside your car, look at your back seats (facing them from the front). up on the top the passenger side rear seat should have a tab and the driver side one as well. The seats will fold down in a 1-2 form, meaning- one seat will go down individually, where as the other seat will bring down the rear center "cushion" with it as well.
In the coupes, there a little red strap tucked away behind the seat somewhere in the middle, you need to fish for it. Thats how you drop the seats from the inside.

Your looking for a strap. Its not going to be visible because its usually wedged in between the seats. Like I said before, you need to dig for it. Here's a pic:
