Rust on my G coupe *help*

I was cleaning my car when i noticed some rust spots on driver side rear wheel well(not sure if thats what its called). i have pics that im trying to upload.

I also checked my exhaust and i saw that it was cracked from the flange at the rear ( the one closest to the muffler) i will try to upload pics for that soon.

whats the best solution for my problem?

Do you mean it can be easily fixed by a body shop?

The flange can be welded. happened to me and many other g35's from what my dealer said. So it's a common thing.

I believe that is correct.

I would take it to the dealership and see what they say before trying to fix it yourself.. but worse comes worse, pretty simple fix. Good luck.

ok i looked it up and i found this:

CORROSION WARRANTY

Surface Corrosion
Surface corrosion of any body sheet metal is covered by the 48
month/100,000 kms. Basic Coverage. Surface corrosion means
corrosion affecting any readily visible surface area of any
component of the vehicle body, but not including the vehicle
underbody.
For additional information, refer to the “Limitations” and “What is
Not Covered” sections on pages 8 through to 10.

Perforation from Corrosion
Original equipment vehicle body sheet metal components are
warranted to be free of “Perforation from Corrosion”, defined as
rust through, from the inner surface to the outer surface, resulting
in a hole. The duration of this warranty is 84 months, unlimited
kilometres from the warranty start date *. For additional
information, refer to the “Limitations” and “ What is Not Covered”
section on pages 8 through to 10.

As im passed 100k am i eligible for the second one? it talks about perforation that i dont have yet but i know it going to get there if i just neglect it.

What should i do if the dealer tries to deny my warranty claim? as they always do from my experience.

I just came back from the stealership and those *******s said it won't be covered because there's no perforation. One of the service guys told me to apply some rust inhibitor/Protectant and forget about it.

Should I just sand it myself? Iol I'm not sure if I can do it my self.

Can someone give a detailed explanation on how to do it? Pls?

^^ Well there isn't perforation is there?

If you're not sure you can do it yourself, take it somewhere.
