hey guys, i'm about to replace my front and rear tires on my coupe. i currently have 225/40/19 front and 245/40/19 rears and my car isn't dropped. i was wondering if a different setup would do me any good. i know some of you run 245/35 fronts and 255/40 rears. how is this ride compared to what i currently have? i'm more concerned with ride quality and noise but also dont want super beefy tires. if a different setup would be better please let me know. any input would be greatly appreciated.

 

Never had a 225 on before, but I'm currently using 245x35/255x35 and have no complaints.

 

225/40 and 245/40, OEM specs. Wish I would have gone wider in the rear.. When I get new ones I may try to throw larger ones in the back!

 

I've seen stock 19s with 245/40 in front and 275/35 rear. Looked fine. Although 275 rear is probably over max for the wheel, but it really looked good. Not bulging at all.
