wow this sucks...

I recently went to my local Infiniti dealer to solve my long lost problem of my 03 G35 coupe not Re-learning the idle Relearn , and to fix my sh!ty throttle response. Idle re-learn would work but just not save the memory. So the dealer tells me I need a new BRAND new ECU , told me total parts and labor was $1300.

Called my insurance to file a claim and they said they need to send an inspector to Infiniti due to a high price coverage parts/labor ect.

Infiniti didnt want to deal with them and said that they only way they can do the job is that I pay and then send the receipt to my Insurance.......

any suggestions

They told you that because they know your insurance will deny the claim and they'll lose a sale. It'll probably be cheaper for you just to get a tune and you get free hp as well from it.

Yeah DEFINITELY check out another dealer, that whole thing sounds like a whole bunch of scam.

^My other suggestion was going to be get an aftermarket ECU for cheaper... Especially with all those breather mods you have already done.
