help: new tires and abs, slip, vdc off came on
#16
thanks! i have hankook evo v12's in the back and after doing some research it looks like 245/35/19 in the fronts will work even though its 4.65% and hankook offers this size (this is a bit high in % but found it in this threat https://g35driver.com/forums/wheels-...thread-16.html)
or i might get 235/40/19 Pirelli PZero Nero

I had 285/45/20 on the rears, yea it was a temporary thing until my new stock size tires came in. Now the VDC, ABS, and Slip come on after 1/2 mile of driving. I called the dealership for some info. and they basically said it was a hard code that popped up due to the irregular wheel size. They said itll cost $180 for them to clear a simple code. Any suggestions?

ECM doesn't "learn how the tires are" if the overall diameter is greater than 3% difference between the front and the rear then the VDC system thinks it's slipping and will trip itself.
225/40 R19 is 26.1" diameter
265/40 R19 is 27.3" diameter
The difference between those two is 4.6% they will not work on the G35
225/40 R19 is 26.1" diameter
265/40 R19 is 27.3" diameter
The difference between those two is 4.6% they will not work on the G35
