Wheel Issues

Today I took my car to Discount Tires to have them remove a nail from one of my wheels and to my surprise all four of my 20X9 wheels are bend. I called a wheel repair place that says they fix wheels for local BMW and Mercedes dealerships and they gave me a quote for $100 per wheel to get them fixed. Now, should I just buy new wheels or have them fixed? Do any of you know if there is a company that sells wheels that sells them with warranty similar to the tire replacement warranties? I guess I do not mind buying new wheels but it does hurt if I will be in the same situation a short time from now. Take care and thank you all who view this thread.

You couldn't replace them for $400 so it seems logical to have them fixed. This is one of the issues with 20" rims and small side walls, a few pot holes and they're tweaked....something everyone ignores!

^Thats why I went with 19's. I really wanted 20's for the look, but I knew I would end up bending them.

I personally would shell out the $400 and just get them fixed...

Obviously they aren't bent that bad or the car would wobble and shake, I would just keep driving on them untill it becomes an issue

I had an unused extra rim so I had the Discount people swap it for the worst one. My car does not shake so I will wait until it gets worst to have all rims fixed. Thanks for your comments but I am still woundering if there is a company that allows to place a warranty for replacement?

it probably wont get worse. every other car on the road is driving with small bends in their rims that dont cause any issues. these places are also notorious for making false claims. ive heard it one to many times

I would sell them... if they are forged 20s then fix, but they probably wouldn't be bent if they were forged.

if you run on bent wheels there is a chance that wheel(s) will make the tire wear improperly. i ran with a slightly bent rim on my last car and it was ok, but was never smooth on the interstate.

i have 19s. each one is bent and cracked. the roads here suck. that doesnt stop me though ha im not about to pay to have them fixed. theyre not gonna get worse, if anything you have to fill up on air more often. unless 400 bucks is pocket change for you, i wouldnt even worry about it
