Fix for oil consumption?

Is there a fix for the oil consumption issue?

I already had my engine block replaced 50k miles ago but it's burning oil again...

Is there a fix for this?

Pretty sure a new motor is about the only true fix.

But a new motor would be the same as the old one with the same issue again...

Just rebuild the short block. Thats a guaranteed fix and it gives you the opportunity to go with aftermarket internals if you want a little more power.

rebuilt motor with aftermarket piston / piston rings. The issue was piston rings and piston causing oil consumption.

Those are my plans, but I'm keeping my motor, and looking for a shortblock to build.
