Help with sidemarkers

So I bought my coupe about a year ago and the sidemarkers have never worked. I checked and there were no wires at all going to the passenger side marker. I asked the previous owner this spring and he said that he was having an electrical short problem and his mechanic tracked the short down to a malfunction in the wiring for the sidemarkers. After some snooping around under there I found the wiring for the passenger side tucked up and electrical taped to the frame (without male or female plugs for the bulb). Driver side wiring, male and female sockets all seem in place, bulb doesn't light.

SO, obviously I'd like them to work (especially because I want to LED those b1tches) and I'm wondering what are my options? I was thinking maybe a direct wire from the headlight turn signal? Or maybe a vendor here could sell me a wiring setup? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

if you have 03-05 direct wire from turn signal would be your best/cheapest/fastest bet! but if you have 06-07 its only going to light up when you use the blinkers.

Couldnt you tap the wires for the clearance strip light? Or the city light for the projectors.

Other have also wired it so it would function as a side marker and blinker. Dont ask me how cuz im not a genius. Just throwing it out there since you plan on doing more than just getting the side markers to work.

Yea that would be the 03-05s since there blinker in the headlights (amber light) is always on. So if u splice that one for the sidemarker it will act the same way. So it stays on while driving but when u use the blinkers both will work just the same

Ok that's my plan then. Inside my oem side marker I found the gray female piece that receives the bulb. Looking at the other side it seems that i need the black male piece attached to the wires coming from the harness. Now I just need to come up with one of those....

This is a pic of the drivers side which has everything in place. The black male piece there that is attached to the wires coming from the wiring harness. I have everything but that... Part number? One from a part out? any help would be spectacular.

Update. I sourced the pigtails and plugs from Speck's partout (thanks again!) and some new jdm bump clears and LEDs from Bl4ckL4v3nd3r (thanks bro!). Installed today by using the above method. Spliced into the wiring for the clearance strip instead of the turn signal because the signal had 3 wires coming from it, and the oem wiring for the sidemarkers only has two wires, and is identical to the clearance strip wiring. So I hooked it up today and it looks great, changed the headlights to 6000k also.

And thus my dilemma continues... Turned the car on and it throws it's first ever SES light took it to the peppy boys and it is a P1065. After some research it can mean several things but most pertinent to my recent project are loose or dirty battery terminals, low voltage ECM, low voltage battery, faulty ECM and some others. I came home and did the ecu pedel reset and the light went off but I haunt driven at all after that. I am going outside right now to double check and clean the battery terminals. Anyone else ever ran this code?
