But you have 18s so there will be more tire to work with, I was referring to 19s.

If you can't afford Michelin's go with Yokohama's or Nittos on all four corners. You'll like the way the 245s feel on your front end as apposed to the 225s you've been running, way better control.... Check with wwwthetirerack.com for good prices unless you have an in with a tire shop. Which ever tire you choose make sure the tires have a UTOG close to 300 or just below. That determines what kind of mileage you'll get from your tires and how soft or hard the compound is....Good Luck!

Damn, I didn't know Falkens were that bad. I have them as my rears (came with it when I bought the car). Falken Ziex ZE-912 i believe. how bad are those? Fronts are "General Tire Exclaim UHP". How bad are those? lol

Never really paid attention to tires/cared for them until I read this post.

Look as long as youre not runing like Sunny brand tire or those un heard of brands you're perfectly fine. Hankooks are ok for the money, generals are longer lasting and affordable. A lot of bad reviews on the 452s so I wouldnt run those

Mark, long story short Falkens almost got me killed when I had my last Z. I also had bad luck with Goodyear's cracking sidewalls and leaving me stranded on that funky spare tire in the early morning....twice! Michelin's never ever let me down and that's all I'll ever use on either of my rides. When you know what works for ya, stick with it! Heard good things about Continentals but I'll let someone else give them a try....

I have Invos and I love them. People say they suck in the rain, but they don't if you don't drive like an assclown. I just got a set of Hankook V12's for my new wheels. Everything I've heard about them have been positive for street application, which is what I plan on using them for. Great pricing so I decided to give them a shot.

People say the same thing about Michelin too. A bad experience with something may cause you to not buy again but there's no reason anyone else should have the same mindset. I, also use to own a Z and I always bought cheap tires. Never a problem, ever. I guess it's more personal preference than anything.

I've used Toyo tires on my previous cars and have been happy, mind you I use them for daily driving, nothing too exciting.

For the g35 I have Bridgestones on now (came with the car), and use Continentals for winter tires (really like them).

This forum is about giving advice to those that ask for it, like I posted I wouldn't put Falkens on my Honda. (lawnmower) After 6 years on DRIVER I've never read anything negative involving Michelins. You can run any tire you want cheap or not, your choice!

Check out my previous link. Many unhappy customers. As is with all companies. I wouldn't run michelins on my lawnmower(too expensive).

I've had Hankooks for 2 years now
Pros: very good war, 20k miles with 70percent left and they are cheap!

Cons; Does not handle like the oem Bridgestones, much louder and worse ride

Overall, good solution when you're short in cash but if you love your G, buy better shoes!
