Hardtop Convertible G35C!

Come on Infiniti, take a chance. If not I'll have to talk to West Coast Customs and have them PIMP MY RIDE.

That would be pretty hot. Reduce the space of the back seats, make the rear end a little smaller and the lines more aggressive. And we can be dealing with an affordable SL here. =)

I don't think that it can be done without losing the back seats altogether. The Gs roof is pretty large compared to most hard top convertibles out there. It's gotta fold up and go somewhere unless you are talking about a drastic redesign.

BASE ACURA TLX NOW WANT A G35 AGAIN THOUGH
I'd trade up for a roadster...I would've bought the SLK if it wasn't MSRP'd at $45,000.00..$32,500 - $38,500 is just about right for me!
I agree C'mon INFINITI R&D...you're missing out on loss sales to M3 Conv't and SLK's!

Eh... wouldn't a hardtop version drastically increase the price? I mean softtop is one thing, but hardtop adds quite a premium doesn't it? WE're talking SC430 pricing perhaps

would be pretty geez, but the price....whew!! i personally wouldn't have gotten it if it were a hardtop convertible. more s.hit to worry about.

i was at SEMA last month and there were many guys with Ferrari's, SC's, etc. who had problems with their hardtop closing/opening. it began to rain and the Ferrari guy still couldnt get it closed!! Girls were laughing at him!

Sounds like a tempting ride. I'd definitely consider one at that price.

blech. as if the G35 weren't enough of a fat a$$. let's add another 250lbs. oh, and while we're at it, lets reduce the handling because of the increased chassis flex inherit on all rag tops save the C6 and S2000.

want an affordable convertable made by Daimler-Chrysler? :

Chicks Dig Convertables

If someone at a dealership said that, you can assume that it will not happen.

since you work as a tech at infiniti you should know better than the dealer and if it were to come out in 07 which means in another 2 odd years, shouldnt they atleast have plans be testing in the next few months time? to launch so quick?

I am defintely on for it, I will pay upto 50Gs for it if they increase the displacement to 4.0, up the HPs to 350-400 range, make it lighter, longer(not shorter ) and have a hard-top converti with torque in the 400s and ofcourse make it a little sleaker, since a bulky(the way G and Z are) converti wouldnt look good... and ofocurse should have time of about 4.9-5.0 with plenty of room to mod

But i have posted this before in the next coming months what infiniti needs to do is

1. a cheaper car than G35 (sedan or sports coupe/hackback) call it A25 in the 20-30k range
2. a newer top of the line car( not that ugly Q45) 55-65k range
3. a mid sized pathfinder styled SUV in 35-45k range
4. a large sized coupe (M35 probably or an M45 coupe) 40-50k range
5. a racing version for most cars (i know our cars are already powerful, but more power never hurts) so an G35R(40-45k) with 350-360hp, M45R(55-60k), M45cR, FX45R(55-65) with 400+ horses, A25R (28-34k)

ok ok i am going a little overboard, I need to be in the infiniti board to influence their decisions..and ofcourse concentrate on irradicating noises along with providing better fuel economy, for gods sakes a vette with 6.0L engine and 400 horses performs 10 times better
