I need a little help.

So, i just bought an 04 coupe with a stillen supercharger.
The guy at the small used car dealer didnt know much about the car, or my truck I was trading in, or anything forced induction for that matter.
He purchased the G at an auction in florida.

I traded in my 99 ford lightning for this car and I couldnt be happier.
The truck was fast as hell, but only in a straight line and that got old quick.
I was a little hesitant at first about the G because there is no boost gauge, oil pressure, air fuel etc.
Although, Im assuming the previous owner removed them from the A pillar because the new pillar that is up is marked with yellow chalk assuring fitment to the car.

I am the second owner, the car has never been in an accident, It has 62k miles and I paid only $6k after my trade in...No leaks, transmission slips, motor knocks or anything I got a hell of a deal.
In any event, It drives smooth, and its quick.I am curious to what stage is on the car though. I tried to do some research and i know for a fact its at least a stage 2 because it is intercooled.Im not sure about the size of the pulley, or how much boost Im running. I havent really driven it too hard because Im going to get it checked out first, and re tuned if needed.I found a local shop that specializes in 350zs and Gs.I just cant get there until monday.

I took some photos of the engine bay and a black box i found, not sure if thats too helpfull. Im not too familiar with G's or any tuner car too much.lve always had american muscle. Anyway, here is the photos any help would be awesome.

Welcome to DRIVER & CONGRATULATIONS!

You don't need to much help, looks like you found a fun ride without spending much $$! I would get the gauges you need and get them installed, it's nice to know what gone on under your hood. Measure the diameter of the pulley and email these pic to Stillen, maybe they can give you some information. Looks like she could use to have her engine bay cleaned up, you've a lot going on under there....

sure ill take some pictures when i get out of work. Its stock as hell hahaha. Just lowered and window tint...for now...

one more thing, i notice there is an "AT CHECK" light...Ive never seen this in a car before. Is that basically going to illuminate if im low on fluid, or break something?

Good place to start would be with a bunch of old rags and household cleaner. Don't use the hose or water under pressure, we have way to many critical sensors in there. Once she's clean using detail spray and rags will keep her lookin good. Removing all those OE stickers will also unclutter the bay. May take a day or two to get an answer from Stillen....

Get the light checked out immediately. It could be a small issue with the wiring or it could be as big as a tranny needing to be replaced. There's no way we can diagnose it over the internet.

Sorry i didnt word that correctly... the "check at" light doesnt come on while driving or flash or anything like that....You know how when you put the car on acc all the lights are illuminated, thats when I noticed it and just wasnt sure what its specific purpose was, i knew it would indicate a transmission issue, I just wasnt sure if it would pin point certain things....Im taking the car to a local shop this week that specializes in z's and g's. Make sure its running and is tuned how its supposed to be.seems fine to me but i wanna double check.. I just wish i knew what stage this kit is.

Ive done alot of research before and after buying the car. Even if it was a stage 2 i would be happy with my purchase. As far as I can tell, any "stage 4" photos online show the green housing around the bearing for the s/c pulley, the "black box", the 7th injector which i did find under the hood....and i also have an aftermarket idler pulley,.so im assuming thats what it is for now. The car is pretty quick regardless.for now.

Good thing i asked first, I noticed alot more electrical components in comparison to my 99 lightning hahahaha. I used to just cover the intake, and spray the rest of the engine bay down with simple green and a hose. I wasnt sure if i could just cover up a few things for the G and just hose it down...Now that I know ill just take the time and do it with some good old fashion elbow grease. thanks.

The box you took pictures of is an HKS DLI (ignition amplifier). The box that comes w/ the Stillen kit used to be a split second box..pretty sure that's what they still use. In any case, that box would be spliced into your ecu so the location would be near your ecu. As far as spraying down the bay, just cover up the alternator, intake filter, and battery compartment and you should be fine. (Many have done this) But seeing how you are running the Stillen w/ the engine cover off, looks to be some exposed wiring in places. I would seal any exposed areas well, then spray down bay with some Chemical Guys Grime Reaper, and then hose down. Afterwards, use something like 303 protectant to dress all areas. Don't forget the underside of the hood! Congrats on the purchase

Its been over 4 years since i had the stillen s/c but if remember right your at stage 4.Take a look at the 7th injector and see if there is a spacer between the injector and its mounting point if it has one you are def stage 4 as the injector is larger then stock.
