Window sometimes stuck

I tried searching but with no Luck. Seems like other people's window are permanently stuck.

For my coupe Drive side window, It gets stuck on occasion. I notice it tends to get more stuck when it is hot out. Would i still need to replace my window motor?

Mine side the same thing for about 2 weeks before it finally died. O'Reilly sells refurbished window motors for ~$150 with a lifetime warranty. Installation isn't that hard, and there is an excellent guide on how to do it in the DIY section.

is it the same part for both doors? or is it a unique motor for driver's side and passengers side? if it's the same, I feel like i should probably get one and keep on hand just in case. my driver's window occasionally gets stuck in the down position (but only if it's all the way down)

It's a different part for each door.

They also give a $30 credit back if you bring in your old one.

If your window ever does get stuck, sometimes opening the door and closing it while pressing the switch to go up or down works. It did for mine for a while until it finally gave out. I changed the bad one with an o'rielly one and it works fine on mine.

I fixed mine by taking apart the motor and cleaning all the carbon deposits. Hasn't gotten stuck since... there's a DIY for it somewhere...
