Hi everyone,

I'm interested in getting the Kuruma Z bumper and I'm curious if I will scrape going through my subdivision which has about 5 speedbumps to deal with just to get out of the frickin' place.

I'm lowered on SWIFT springs which I believe is a .8" drop but then I also did the "Springmount Mod" to get another 1/2-1" out of it.

Just curious as to how much lower it sits than a 07" Sport front bumper?

I'm probably just going to get it anyways and take my chances. Just hate hearing and seeing it scrape everyday I leave the house. Guess I'll have to move. lol

If you want it, get it. Deal with the scrapes. It is just the bottom.

I do this every day I back out of my driveway.

I feel your pain, I live in a complex with 3 mountain sized speed bumps I have to pass over. I say to make sure you know the best angles and low spots of the speed bumps then get the bumper and roll hard I'd say the bumper is substantially lower, but check with some guys here. Good luck!

go very slow and very angled, kuruma is a lot lower than stock but unless the bumps are really that big just a small drop on springs should be fine.

I am not lowered at all but have a nismo front.. I rarely scrape on anything unless its really steep in which case, go at an angle to give yourself more clearance.

If you get it find a way to support it from the bottom. I didnt and the paint started stretching under the head lights.

Depends, different Inven versions were different heights. I think kuruma may still be overall lower than the lowest inven but it is still likely very close.

Being lowered and having a KurumaZ bumper you'll need to learn how to crawl over speed bumps and driveways at a 45 degree angle. Your biggest nightmare w/b those parking lot stops or curbs when you're pulling up to them. Just gotta learn how far up you can pull without scraping the beautiful bumper....order touch up paint while you're learning.

Follow these steps:
Brake hard before the bump
Feel car lean forward
Let go of brakes right before the bump
Feel car suspension rebound - Front of car now slightly raised for a short moment
DO IT
???????
Profit!

Just kidding; that's actually probably more risky, 'cause if you don't time it right, you'll be lower in the front when you hit the speed bump. Plus, you need to be weary of people behind you when braking like that.
