I have a 2005 g35 coupe with Bose and my friend has a 2004 with Bose and his has a lot more bass even at the same EQ settings. It almost feels as if mine doesn't even have a sub.

I'm wondering is the watts and speakers are the same between years

 

Hmm I can't find any numbers but i have a 2004 and my buddy has an 05 and they sound the same. I know 2004 is 240 watts but not sure about 05. Maybe your wires or speaker is bad?

 

Just read that 05, 07, & 08 is 225 watts. That was from an unofficial site though. Still, like I said, I didn't notice a difference in my experience so make sure all of your speakers are working.

I noticed that one of the woofers in the back deck (driver side) is not working, i think its blown out or something. check to see that all your speakers are functional.

 

Yea definitely. My front lower left speaker just blew out yesterday. Dammit

 

All the years suck! Just save up and get a aftermarket system put in
