G35 coupe help

Hey guys Im new here as you can see. I just bought me a 04 G35 coupe but its missing some stuff...alot of stuff actually but i am only having trouble with the headlights..as in terms of understanding which ones to get.

First I do not have any headlights at all...first question is if i buy these headlights will i need anything else? Im confused on all this stuff about ballast or what not and than the item description says its plug and play and all. Can someone please extend and explain better please. Also someone told me if i get these i will need an adapter. What adapter? This is my first car ever and i got it for cheap but everything works fine and the car itself looks good except the front which will be fixed, I also want xenon headlights hid or w.e

Headlights = http://www.ebay.com/itm/2003-2007-G3...item43ab6b5c62

Here is a picture of my car and the front. Don't laugh! It will look good when its done.

Front view =

Any information/help is greatly appreciated. Thank you

About the headlights, i would go out and get the 06 projector ones and not to mention they will prob be of better quality than those ebay ones. you will only have to go out and buy the ballast to make them work. but your car has a little bit of work to be done, but GL and welcome.

please do no buy those headlights, they are just hideous

as to your question....since you're lights are missing, you are most likely also missing the ballasts as well so none of those lights will be plug and play for you

Yep, get the oem 06+ projector headlights and a set of used ballasts from eBay. How much did you pay, if you don't mind me asking?

i see....so if i get those from riverside all i need is a ballast? I only see used on ebay.. is there new ones?

And yes it does need some work. 2 fenders and rocker moulders...bumper cover...2 headlights..radiator support has to be changed because it has a crack on it...and fender liners as well and some foams that i hear go under the bumpers too. $2000 fix. the headlights are the most expensive part. Local infiniti dealership wants 860 each headlight. lol

Just giving him idea of what to look for. If he wants them cheaper, I'm sure he can shop around

Yup, avoid the eBay ones. You don't know how good/bad of a quality they are. Stick to 06 Projectors. If you're looking for something cheaper, look for 03-05 headlights.

Hell no don't even consider the first gen headlights, major waste of your $$! Get the '06 projectors from E-Bay, you'll be so glad you did. Install the ballasts and it's a plug/play. Post pic when you get your G back on the street and G/L!

So alright i will go with those 06 projectors than but what do you guys suggest for the ballast? Avoid eBay? if not eBay where else can i get it from..

Definitely not going to the dealership for it..they want 490 for a ballast. and ill defitnely post some pictures when my g is done and I paid 5900 for this G35 with 110k which seemed cheap because around here on ATL g35 coupes are well over 13k

I mean eBay is as good as any place else for used, you just have to find the right price. I doubt you'll find them new in your price range. You could always check the marketplace here for some deals.

Btw, I live in Atlanta so if you need help with your G, lemme know
