ive had my 03 G35 coupe for about 6 years now and since ive owned it, ive put on the FALKEN ZIEX 912's on three times. im maybe looking to change it up if its worth it?

these tires are affordable (i get them out the door mounted and balanced $420) and durable. i feel like the ride and handling is medicore at best though. i live in southern cali, not much rain or weather conditions.

i want to know your opinons on tires you all have dealt with? whats good whats bad? how much? any feedback would be great. thanks-

YX580's are really good all season tires. I have had them for about 2 months now and I think they are great. about 800 for all 4 so i know its more than your other ones but maybe they are at least worth a look?

which tires are best in what? grip? wet? longevity? noise? flex? Typically a performance increase in one category will relate to a decrease in performance of another category. So you have to prioritize what features are important to you and then choose a tire from there.

i want a tire that handles well. something that feels smooth but grips. i drive somewhat aggressively but not crazy. i dont need to get too tech on tires but want something that is gona get the most out of the car i drive.

ex. if i buy potenza's are they going to give me an unparalleled feel compared to the tires i drive now? will it increase my handling and ride 10 fold? are there equal tires out there that match up to bridgestone, michelin etc.

I run nitto invos and I love them they grip great and are suprisenly quiet just a little pricey tho

I also hear a lot of good things about Nitto Invos.

+1 for the Hankooks, i have always run them and love them, but i burn through them to quick, so im making the change to the new falken's all season tire, hopefully i get a good amount of mileage out of them. Currently i am just barely getting 20k out of my hankooks.

^ my buddy got em from the dealer on his g37 coupe (Ventus V12's) and he drives like a straight MANIAC. Literally looks for ANY car thats comparable in speed (camaro,is350, M cars lol) and guns it. Pretty sure he will make it to 20K or less as well, haha

anyways, in those 20K miles that you get from them, i'm pretty sure your G drives GREAT. smooth, minimal cabin noise, and good grip.

I had toyo t1r's on when i bought the car, not bad, little noisy and they got pretty bad towards the end of their life. Went with Michelin Pilot Sport 2's. Quite and grippy as hell. Highly recommended.

Sumitomo HTR-Z are great but really loud, Hankook Ventus V12's are still really good but ride is quieter.
