I have a 2006 coupe with the sport package. What is the largest rear wheel/tire combo (offsets please) that will be flush. I also plan on rolling the fenders. Specifically, I would like to use an Avant Garde M310 11" wheel with a 295/35/19 tire. I orginally believed this to be a fairly simple question, but have received countless differing opinions.

I actually have the same question, so Im hoping someone can answer this...... Im also wondering what the best size wheels for handling would be????

Well, I'm not an offset guru, but I know u can run a 295 in the rear of a coupe.. I run 285 in the rear and my alignment in the rear is to factory spec.. thanks to a rear camber kit and toe bolt.. I have a 29mm offset in the rear and 24mm in the front. I know that it kinda weak compared to some of the other guys on here, but my wheels sit flush with no spacer.


If u want the best handling/performance/style wheels would be 19's

I have an 06 coupe and currently running 245 in the front and 265 in the back, and it has a bit of stretch look. I recommend you going:

9.5" rim +10 offset with 255/35/19 tire (front)
10.5" rim +15 offset with 275/35/19 tire (rear)

For a nice flush look.

I had this same question when i was looking at new tires. what i learned was that somepeople told me that they had some rubbing while using 255 in the front. im using 245 and have no problems. I would go this just to be safe.:

9.5" rim +10 offset with 255/35/19 tire (front)
10.5" rim +15 offset with 275/35/19 tire (rear)

Trust me you dont want to deal with rubbing in the front lol


plus you can always get spacers and your fenders rolled and you wont notic a diffference

Sorry go with 245/35/19 in the front

being flush has to do with offset and rim width. get that combination correct and you will sit flush. the tire size is specific for ppl going for stretched look, meaty fitment, contact patch, and clearance in the fender.
295s can fit in the rear as long as the wheels they are on have appropriate dimensions. with that said 295s are a regular fit (meaning not stretched or not meaty) for an 11 inch rim. so you will be fine with what you are looking for. fender may need to be rolled i wouldnt go more than a 15-20mm offset for these. see my pics below for a 285 on an 11" rim

handling will not improve with your wheels if you are on stock suspension. if you beef up the suspension and you track your car 18x10s are the best dimensions for our cars that are pushing 280-425whp. if you are pushing high boost and you race you will need wider wheels/tires for optimal traction (then again if you have a car like that you probably already know this)

these are nice dimensions that anyone will be more than happy with... flush but do 245s on the front.

go big or go home . haha im a sucker for those real fat tires in the rear. i run 305s in the back but have seen biger. rears 20x11 +15 . stickes out a little bit .. def need to roll the finders or it looks funny imo. got coilover suspension tho ,so idk how it would work or even fit with stock or lowring springs.
