^Thank you. That's a lot more mature.

And yes, abandoned airstrip = private property = a-ok.

Not exactly as "safe" as a track (on-site ambulance, fire control, enforcement of safety gear, etc...) but hey, I can't say I wouldn't have probably done the exact same thing in your shoes LOL, and that's not at all something you're going to get in trouble for talking about.
Just be forewarned, it might be a good idea to peruse the forum rules just for future reference.

Have people on here (self included) driven over the limit? Sure... but do you see us putting it out there in plain sight? Nope! And what's more, the attitude of trying to weasel your way out of a ticket you clearly deserved is not the kind of attitude that's welcomed.
Many of our members wholeheartedly support "take it to the track" quite a number regularly visiting racing venues ranging from AutoX to Drag Racing to Track Days. Some of us also know how/where to drive aggressively and have fun on public roads WITHOUT breaking the law.
Why is it though, that when you mention your 170mph foray, I get the sneaking suspicion that this was not on a track? And if not on the track, therefore by no definition of the word was it indeed "safe"

Fighting a ticket that is of questionable motive is one thing... but trying to get others to lie for you so you can get off of a ticket when you were 37 MPH over the speed limit??!? Because you don't want your license taken away (because you apparently have a crap-load of speeding tickets and still haven't learned?!?!?)
That is simply acting like a petulant child.

Cops are public servants, and we pay their salaries. Don't let the system control you...control the system. Innocent until proven guilty remember?

PS: I came here for some help, not to be schooled in the ways of the road. I passed my driving exam just like all of you other people here. I choose to drive the way I do and it is my choice to fight tickets rather than waste my money paying them right away. I saved myself from getting 2 points and a 700.00+ fine.
