Its just the pressure thats built up, nornally it will go away after a short drive then try to fill up again

Flow rate for Japanese gas pumps are
Lower than the states. Try pulling the pump handle so it's halfway or 2/3 inserted in the fuel neck and use half the handle pressure
On the pump. This usually works for me.

Mine does that. It will take in $10 worth of gas then stop even though its nearly empty... I have to put the hose in like 2/3 in and hold the trigger manually so it fills. Its a common problem, but too lazy to get it fixed.

Same problem

Mine does this sometimes, it seems to be the pumps that do this. As a test the second time this happened I had parked between the 2 pumps. When one came up short and no matter how slow I ran the fuel it would not take anymore. I then streched the other hose over and filled right up. That same pump always gives me fits.

Had this at certain pumps. Not a big deal. Find a place that fills you up and keep going back.

+1

Certain stations do this to me to (04 coupe), if you have a Costco in your area, theirs work great!
