I've noticed it on mine and also noticed it on my brother's 03 sedan, almost feels like we have higher gears. For example, when I had my 06 Mustang GT with stock gears it was fine, but when I switched to 4.10 gears it acted almost like our G35s when slowing down.

Nissan has always used short gears in there vehicles, my truck ran 5.13s I'm pretty sure... Those are like rx7 gears haha

Just an update. I Did a drain and fill on the transmission and noticed the fluid drained normal for most of the drain but towards the end it drained a little bit of clear. After the drain and fill the effects of this drastically improved so it drives much better. Anyone know why some clear fluid would drain??

In manual mode it feels like it is staying in-gear, providing a lot more resistance engine-braking etc., but in D, not pushed over to the left, it drives like any other automatic.

Thats opposite of what I was experiencing. I'm not experiencing it anymore after a fluid change and whats left of the resistance feels way more normal than it was.

Still looking for some input on why when I drained my tranny fluid some of it was clear? Is it just some seperation in the fluid?
