mr.islandtuner,

How did you solve your issue?? I have the exact same problem as on your vidio and i have the cam and crank sensors replaced already?

If i keep starting it like that, would my starter really die?

Thanks

i can see from the video your service engine light is on dude. you said there was nothing?
scan it again. get a well known shop to trouble shoot it for you. by just that video you cant troubleshoot it from that. people talking about starters and alternators, they're stupid dont listen to them. your battery sounds strong the way its cranking.

but yes your starter can prematurely wear from long cranks like that but it wont hurt it more than the usual crank.

it seems like a cmp or ckp problem. your rpms dont even move while you crank it.

sorry for the late reply been hella busy with work as usual

the issue still hasn't been resolved its still starting like in the video... but when i placed it on the scan tool at the local shop it came back with the same code (camshaft position sensor just like i told them it would) ive scanned the car twice already, now my thing is i've found out that 05+ G's have 4 camshaft position sensors but i have no way of knowing if the previous owner swapped out the engine to a RevUp motor or not.......... is there anything in particular i can look for on the engine itself to know whether or not my engine came out of a 2005+ G???
