Sirius radio stopped

I bought my car from a used car dealership about 2 months ago. The Sirius worked in it until about a week ago. If my memory serves me correctly, it stopped working exactly 2 months after I purchased the car. I figured I was given a trial so I tried to subscribe. I looked for my radio id and tuned to channel 000. After hitting DISP a few times it goes "Channel 000, Sirius ID, SID, 8 digit number." I'm guessing that number is my radio ID and the rep from Sirius said its not correct it has to be 12 digits. He then said he could use my VIN number and that returned no results because he did not see a code related to my VIN.

After searching the forums, I decided to check my trunk for the code on my Sirius module. Took apart my trunk and this is all I found:

Where is the Sirius located? I'm an 05 coupe. Any help would be great!

I had also just read online that the radio can only read 10 digits so it that is the case.. how in the world am I supposed to see the 12 digit code?! Even when I'm on the preview channel, the phone number they give me is 888-xxx- and nothing more. What a stupid feature

My 05 sedan has XM not Sirius and the ID is 8 digits. Contact XM and see if they recognize the radio ID.

You just gave me an idea... when I tune thru the radio, it goes fm1 fm2 xm1 xm2 but when it actually tunes to xm1 and 2 it says sirius.. I'll have to call them.

Also, the tech said it IS an 8 digit code. However, it should be letters and numbers. Mine is only numbers.

Hmmm not sure what the deal is. I'm sure what the stock radio looks like, does yours look like that? I found my code on channel 0 and had no issues setting mine up 3 years ago when I bought my car.

Well tomorrow I think I'm going to pull the radio and check the VIN on it. Hopefully it wont match my car's VIN and it will solve all of my problems lol.
