Please help slip light flashing and front brake engaging automatically

I am having a major problem i just bought my 04 g35 coupe 3 days ago. so yestersday i took my car to get an allignment done yesterday because my rear toe was off real bad and my front steering wheel was crooked at like the 2 oclock position. so first of all we had trouble getting the car on the rack it got stuck and rear wheels were spinning in the air, then we finally got it up and tech told me that front control arm bushings are almost gone so couldent get front into spec very good one side is ok but other is more off. but we got the rear into spec and steering wheel straight. then we drive off rack and i notice vsc light and slip light are on, i thought it would go away later so i drive home runs fine then i park it for a couple of hours. then i go to drive again and the lights slip and vsc light come on after like 2 min of driving, so i get to where im going turn off car for like 10 min. then start car again start driving then the same lights come on again and it feels like one of the front breaks lock up a bit and the car stalls, so i put in park and start it again then start driving them slip light flashes and break locks up again real quick then it fine. any help would be greatly apperciated thanks again

usually the vdc light only comes on when the speed sensors detect that one or two wheels are spinning a lot slower then the other wheels, so the car thinks your slipping or losing traction and applies the brakes.

How bad is the toe and camber on the side with the bad front control arms?

For now, you can probably just turn off the vdc or pull the vdc fuse and your car should be driveable again. But you'll lose vdc and abs if you pull the fuse.

I would also try to pull the error codes through someone with a nissan computer. If not, you can try testing the front speed sensors and make sure its not broken....maybe also post your alignment spec to see how much out of spec they are.

Steering angle sensors. Mine does the same thing but I've learned to live with it for now until I get it fixed. Seems like I'm seeing more of these problems lately.
I've done tons of research and I only found one other person talking about this before and it was the steering angle sensors. Until you get it fixed what I've learned is that if you just creep when taking off the lights will come on and then it won't brake on you but if you take off at an accelerated rate they will flash while the brakes lock and usually just apply the brake until the lights stay on and no problem. Although I feel like my car isn't as responsive with this. The car kind of puts itself into a "safe" mode. Check those sensors and report back

Question. Did you ever fix this problem & if so, what was the issue & solution?

VDC Off, Slip Light Blinks, and front brake engage automatically

Please Help.

The other day I purchased a vehicle (2007 Infiniti G35X). A couple of days later my VDC Off & Slip light appeared on my dash. I didn’t think too much of it. As the day progressed, I went to a couple of places to run some errands.

So I jumped in my car, turned it on and put the car on drive.

As I drove away, I noticed the car brakes engaging in the front. It sounded as if I were dragging something. So I immediately stopped the car, and checked to see if I ran something over. It turned out there was nothing there.

As the days passed, I noticed the problem occur more frequently. This wasn’t an everyday thing, it was something random. The light would stay on (and still do), but the brakes being engaged would happen randomly.

It’s definitely a safety hazard, that’s why I’m reaching out to the Infiniti/Nissan community in hopes to resolve this issue.

Thank you for reading this,

- Djjojo860

Check your brake fluid, check your brake pads, spin each wheel by hand and make sure everything feels right. If everything looks good take it to Nissan for a diagnostic.

I replaced both rotors & brake pads for the front of the vehicle.

Slip light still flashes and VDC off is still displayed.

In another thread someone mentioned their brake switch being the culprit. Check that out.

Normally it's just wrong size tires triggering the VDC system.
