i was driving home from the LA Auto show, on the 5 fwy south, it was raining, hit a pothole, lost control, and got perpendicular with the road...... smashed into the center divider...

im fine, passenger is fine also, THANK GOD!!! and no other car was involved...

both airbags deployed, hood opened up to the windshield, car was smoking bad..... got out to see my car was a complete mess, as you can see...

body shop is gonna do the estimate 2mrw, i think its totalled....................

in the first pic, note that the front passenger wheel (not shown) is pointing forward...

2nd pic, MY CAR ISNT LOWERED!!! i dont know how this happened...

3rd pic of the airbag deploying...

Damn man, sorry to see that. Good thing everything is alright with you and your passenger. Car looks like its probably gonna be totalled, not sure though. Keep us posted on what happens.

Dude, I was on the 5 also last night and I hit the same pothole! Was it around the norwalk/downey/carmenita area just after the Commerce Casino? Luckily I was in the 4Runner but even after hitting it, we thought we blew a tire for sure or atleast the rim got damaged...the pothole was in the middle lane before the 5 slopes up a bit????

Kia. OMG man, thank god you are fine. The car is always replaceable.

But as for the car. HELL NO IT IS NOT SALVAGE. Remember i told you i got into an accident a lil while back. Our valuve of the car is kept so well that insurance will just fix it. Its cheaper for them to fix it then pay you the amount of the car.
