Rear creaking

Hi guys I have 04 g35 coupe with 26,000 miles on it and recently the rear started creaking, sounds like crumbling a plastic water bottle when its empty,I don't think it's body flexing it wouldn't be this loud if it was body flexing. It only happens on like pulling in on a drive or wavy roads at very slow speeds.
I would really appreciate help on this.
Thanks

While I can't tell you what it is, or why it is happening, I can share my experience with you. I was hearing the same creaking sound from the rear of my 03 coupe a few months back. It ONLY happened when I was circling the parking garage at my work. When I turned to the right and accelerated (going up the garage), it creaked pretty loudly for a few seconds then stopped when I either gained speed or straightened out the wheel. I also thought it was body flex, but it didn't creak when I cornered at higher speeds.

It's been a few months but the sound has gone away. I don't know how or why, but it's gone.

My guess is shocks. Yes, they only have 26k miles. Yes, they are also nearly 10 years old.

I was hearing a similar sound from my rear driver’s wheel area, and I eventually ended up throwing two lugs and snapping the wheel studs. Granted, this could be something totally different on your car, but just something you could check and eliminate if you wanted to.

i have been chasing down a creaking noise as well. mine is only on passenger side rear and only hear the creeking/croaking sound when brakes are applied lightly. usually between 25-40% brake pressure

this one is pretty loud and it happens only when im making a turn at very slow speeds, and allof sudden you hear the noise like someone is crumbling a empty plastic water bottle. i used to hear a sound like this a year ago coming out of my drive way but it used to go away now it there on every turn i make at slow speeds. I'm taking it to shop on Wednesday hopefully its not body flexing because i cant live with this noise it might just be time to sell the car, hopefully something is wrong with my suspension cause im still under warranty for 4 more years.

I have 2 rear creaks as well! 05' w/ 30K mi. One only happens sometimes and it sounds more like something is tapping on the rear windshield, but the second one is when I am making a turn my rear seams to make a creak/rattle noise but it goes away when I drive more

Any update on this, I have the same problem. I am pretty sure it is the compression rod and or the bushings that need to be replaced. I plan on just getting all the bushings underneath replaced as i have an 04' with 108k on it.
