Brakes New brakes recommendation

I'm looking to get new brake pads soon. Does anyone have any recommendations?
I'd really like to have some that didnt leave so much brake dust on my wheels.

Thanks

I ripped out my Hawks well before they were halfway worn and gave them to a friend for free. He didn't like them much either.

Sounds like you want a ceramic brake pad. I don't personally have any experience with them.

And Hawk makes like 20 different compound brakes. Are you guys talking about ceramic or HPS or all of them, or what.

Dunno how much performance difference between all the ceramics. They all go for low dust, decent initial bite, no heat capacity. Maybe more of a difference from autozone brand and decent ones.

Like these:

and filter for premium pads.

I've always heard decent things about Hawk pads. A buddy of mine is running HP Plus and he liked the performance but they dusted like crazy for him.

Seriously Tim? I've been using HAWK HPS pads forever, of course I install em right and do the bed in process immediately after which improves the bite by 40%....SEARCH Hawk bed in process. And there very little dust on my wheels or zero compared to OE pads. There's several vendors sell them here on DRIVER under verdor brakes....you won't find a better brake pad!

I'm also getting Hawk pads when it's time to replace mine, which will be soon. I used to have the Wagner Thermo Quiet pads on my other car and they would squeal (a little ironic considering their name) when they were cold, to the point were it was a little embarrasing. Switched to Hawk ceramic (yellow box) pads and never had a problem.

I have Hawks HP, less dust is great! But personally, I wouldn't get them again did not like the initial bite...I will try Project Mu next.
