NSX over G35?
NSX over G35?
Hi guys, I have had my g35 for abt 2 yrs now, still running strong and smooth, but im itch for something new to play with....
I been browsing NSX forum lately, and NSX owners brags about how much fun to drive and how sexy their car looks.. what do you guys think? should I change my g35 to NSX?
do you guys think NSX is better looking or better car overall compare to G35? is NSX really that good? How is the cars reputation? what do you guys know about NSX? pros and cons of these 2 cars? thanks for the input.
here is some picture of my g and the nsx, although its kinda unfair that my g just crappy iphone shots, and the nsx is professional shots.

Don't know to much about them but they are sexy as hell and different.you don't see to much of them.ill probably get rid of my g if I had an opportunity to own an nsx
Asking someone if they'd take a G35 coupe over an NSX is like asking an alcoholic if he'd prefer muddy water over a shot of tequila...
The G35 is a great car, but it can't even come close, performance-wise, to an NSX.
They weren't called "Ferrari-killers" for no reason.

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods

Sorry Soy but that's one of the silliest questions I have heard asked in over 3 years on this forum.
NSX>G all day long, but you'll pay a pretty penny to get one.

Actually, I'm pretty sure you can get a hold of an older NSX in the $15-20k region. Not that that's cheap for a car that's 10-15 years old. But that's still not bad for a car that, even today, will outperform most everything else on the road.

My buddy paid 30k for his 95' NSX and honestly its not that fast...

Searched autotrader and the cheapest I saw was a 92 with "unlisted miles" for 24k. Id be hesitant to pay $25k for a 20 year old car with 85k+ on the clock. If you have 50k to spend for a low mileage garage kept car, I'd go for it!
The NSX looks like an awesome car, although they have aged quite a bit at this point. Definitely think it would be a very fun car to drive. Part of owning an NSX is having the prestige of saying you have an NSX. They're somewhat uncommon!
The NSX is a kick in the azz to drive. Finding one in great condition that's been cared for will cost you an arm & leg! If you find one in poor condition it will cost you even more cause they're a PIA to work on....Gary

As long as we're talking about the 3.2 liter NSX cars (that means anything post 1996) and one with a 6-speed manually tranny, they are superior to all year stock G35's in basically all areas of performance..... dead-stop acceleration, top speed (by a good 20 MPH), and handling (by a lot). Those NSXs are pretty light for the power they produce(3000-3200 pounds and about 290 HP), even though the power they produce is not amazingly high by modern standards. They also have a good transmission which helps make the car lively despite non-jawdrapping raw power numbers from the motor on paper. The motor is designed to make power at high RPMs so it performs well as a track/race type vehicle that wants to be driven hard.
I would take an equally-good condition newer NSX over my G35 without even batting an eye, if it were a straight-up trade without me having to throw in cash to balance it out. That's a no-brainer.
Awesome car.. but too many years and miles... A 92 or 93 will run you $25k at this point...
If you're in for the MR, get a Cayman S (About $30-35K) and don't ever test drive a 911 S =P
Oh btw, did I mention... no bluetooth, navigation, heated seats and nice leather..
