No way dude!
As long as we're talking about the 3.2 liter NSX cars (that means anything post 1996) and one with a 6-speed manually tranny, they are superior to all year stock G35's in basically all areas of performance..... dead-stop acceleration, top speed (by a good 20 MPH), and handling (by a lot). Those NSXs are pretty light for the power they produce(3000-3200 pounds and about 290 HP), even though the power they produce is not amazingly high by modern standards. They also have a good transmission which helps make the car lively despite non-jawdrapping raw power numbers from the motor on paper. The motor is designed to make power at high RPMs so it performs well as a track/race type vehicle that wants to be driven hard.
I would take an equally-good condition newer NSX over my G35 without even batting an eye, if it were a straight-up trade without me having to throw in cash to balance it out. That's a no-brainer.

^^ you beat me to it lol. There's no way a stock G35 will outrun a stock 3.2L NSX in any situation. Those cars are super light.. made with aluminum instead of steel. They're under 3000lbs and our G35's are elephants in comparison.

If you just want to go fast in a straight line, buy an LS-powered GM vehicle or a used SVT Mustang. You can get those nowadays for 1/3 to half of what you'd spend on a Supra, and they have more power in stock form.
