Performance chips, anyone ever use one? Also are sprint boosters worth it

I see the adds for for performance chips all the time claiming to increase hp and mpg and they're only $70. I've known people with other cars that say they've worked but the gains can't be as good as they claim for that price. Just curious if anyone has used one. Or if anyone has gotten a sprint booster please share feedback

Those don't work, the best tune for our car is Osiris/Uprev tune.

Sprint boosters do work though right, and would it be worth it to use one before having all bolt ons and getting a tune at the end

Chips really do work. I gained 40whp by putting a bag of sour cream and onion in with every fill up. The oil from the chips boosts octane. Make sure the chips are fresh though, if they're stale your throttle response won't feel as crisp.

Although, I find replacing the pty cat (pronounced peety cat) worth more then any other mod. I believe stock the G uses a tabby, but you can straight up drop a hairless in there for weight reduction and a boost in HP. You activate by pressing the button on your console.

There are no "chips" that will "GIVE YOU 67 MORE HORSE POWER!!!!". With this engine management system, there is SOME more power to be had by fine tuning the injector curve etc. But I don't think you can ge more than 10-15 more horses without some bolt ons and maybe cams. There are a few that have made 300 RWHP without forced induction, but not many.

As for sprint booster, yes they do work, but all it does is change the throttle response curve and give you full 100% WOT. It will not add any hp.

I know jsmith it's all good, do you know if the sprint booster is really noticeable as far as increasing acceleration and throttle response
