your kidding me? yeah if he wants it done in his drive way by juan the gardener. It should be at least $300 for a quality job and quality material.

Children, lol. Please read the WHOLE thread before posting.

I paid $175. The shop is a VERY high end shop. They only paint high end custom cars. They did custom paint for me before. I was very pleased with the work. I will be picking up the car in the morning and I'll post pictures before lunch.

Unhappy why?

That's a decent-looking job. Smoother than the OE trunk paint, honestly. I'd give it two weeks or so to bake in the Texas sun, and then lightly wet sand with 2000 grit paper, and give it a good buff and wax to make it really look nice.

Overspray on the tail lights isn't that big of a deal...it's easier to get overspray off of plastic parts than it is other paint.

Same exact thing happened to my OB ....2000 grit sandpaper till its gone, medium compound to take out sanding scratches, polish then wax. Came out perfect and only 20 bucks for supplies.

What a big difference paint makes! Looks good debadged now. Never seen paint in that condition after a debadge though.

I still think the back end of the G is just...too big to be entirely debaged. Looks monotonous. Just a sticker or something to break up the sea of black looks good IMO.
