your designs look like half-a$$ed concepts with 70% of the design being from an already existing exotic.

P.S. The rendering you did of the Lexus..? It looks like a NSX. Am I the only one who sees this. One of the best looking bodykitted cars on the road is the widebody NSX. I would do that in a damn heartbeat if I wanted to, but I have a turbo'd G that looks dope as is. It is one of the best looking cars out there.

^ I noticed this too. I swear I saw one of his concepts using the body or part of the body of a Spyker.

The Lexus bumper one, yeah as nice as the NSX is if I had the money I'd kit it up like that.

How about coming up with your very own design? wouldn't that be a better challenge, rather than copying most of the other companies.

For someone trying to turn a car into an exotic sports car, I sure would have hoped it would have at least been a manual.

Ok, you guys are focusing too much on the OP and forgetting that the builder on that other website is actually using the G35 to come up with his own design, he's not just trying to kit a Ferrari or a Lambo. I doubt he's going to be using of those designs Arashi posted, he's already working on a design on his own.

okay, and what exactly is the guy on the website is gonna have in the end?

a funky looking g35 that he's gonna pass as an "exotic" but has nothing exotic about it. Not the badge, not the sound, not the power, definitely not the interior, and definitely not the quality. what's exotic about it? The fiberglass and bondo he's using to create the body? The upside down G35 tails he's using? K.

The "exotic" that he wants is completely lost by doing what he's doing. You want an exotic, you need to buy one. Otherwise it's just a kit car. And what he's doing isn't just any kit car, it's a crappy kit car. That's all there is to it. You can't make your own exotic just because you're using a chassis that is not exotic in the first place, then adding "exotic-ish" body panels over it.

On second thought, it can't even be classified as a kit car, because most if not all of the work is custom done. It's more like a one-off body kit that looks horrible. With that said, this brings us back to horrible body kits, such as that Aston Martin one for the G35. So technically, all they are doing, is making a horrible one-off body kit that will imitate another car, or in some cases seen in this thread, imitate MULTIPLE vehicles molded into a single car.

If you like cars with mixed personalities, go buy yourself a Nissonda G350ZGTR Type R-S STi Ralliart F1 LM AMG M Power Mugen ZX. I hear that car blends a bunch of sports cars together.

i need a beer.

dafuq is a kit car...

sounds absolutely ridiculous.......

If you want an exotic car get one if not then stfu and keep dreaming because you cant turn a non-exotic car into one, get it? cause no matter what you do to it, its still the same POS except with cheap fiber glass or paper-mache **** tacked on to it.

So in the end you need to change the title to "making the G35 into a rice burning, soy sauce guzzling, POS that everyone is going to make fun of you for"

Ive been influenced by car designs all my life, even if I wanted to start drawing a concept my mind would be pulling design features that have already been made. Sometimes its just best to mimic whole parts, like the Lexus bumper, its great... could I fiddle with it all week to make it better, maybe, but I wont because I doubt it would turn out much better and Im also under pressure to finish this first kit.

Once the kit is made I'll eventually find a low mile ZX to keep for myself. It will be based on the 2+2 version and these can get twin turbo engine swaps from other ZX cars and with the right mods they can take some stock Ferrari's and Lamborghini's.

Correct, he posted a sketch of the back but not the front yet... we'll have to wait and see.
