New DG 6MT owner here

I just picked up a DG/Graphite/Premium 6MT tonight from Infiniti of Kirkland. Great car. They will be installing the front lip spoiler/rear spoiler/diffusers once the parts come in.

Great car. 40 miles on odometer. Apparently someone had ordered the car, but couldn't qualify for the loan, so the sales guy called me. I'm happy.

Wellz, guys, I got my car last Thursday, so its been 4 days now and I got 380+ miles..hehe. Mostly highway driving and moderate city driving. Last time I checked my navi, it was telling me 19.7 MPG. I've been shifting around 2.5K to 3K as well. When I'm on 6th gear, I'm usually doing 60+. The max I would go on city street would be 5th. Trying to oby speed limits ya know. Wellz, at least I know that it is not necessary to go to the 6th gear while in the city. I get a lil over 3K RPM at about 80 mph. Thats the max I have went on the highway this past weekend to the bay area. I still have to get use to the car a lil. I seem the car better when I'm not worry about looking at the tachometer in regards to the RPM limit with the break-in period. I got my car with 11 miles on it btw.

Hi guys, today I went to Cerritos Infiniti and chatted with a salesman, he said that on Feb., there will be many 6MTs coming to the dealer, so I don't need to special order for it. And he said that he will accept any prices on the internet - $200-300, like CarsDirect, KBB etc. He never asked about the mark-up fee...ha
So anyway, I found a good dealer finally! :-)

No, I mean the KBB or CarsDirect's suggest price - $200 to 300, not the Retail(MSRP) price - $200 to 300. So I may end up saving $700 to 900... :-)

just a word of warning....never believe a car salesman until you see the paperwork in front of you and ready to sign with his signature on it. i'm not saying that he's pulling your leg, but from my own experience and forum members, they can say whatever but often times, will change the terms when you actually sit down and are ready to purchase. for example, when i talked to several salespeople from several dealers before the actual 05 pricing was out, they ALL told me that they would hook me up since i already have the 03 and want my "repeat business". this was in person and on the phone with several dealers. when the time came and i went to the dealership to make my order, they ALL gave me the run-around about how they can only give me msrp!!!

it has been said that socal dealerships do NOT haggle and will only give you msrp for 05 coupes. if it works out for you, then great!!! it will be good info for the other forum members in socal who have been trying to get a good price for a coupe.

If I successfully purchase with about 2.55% discount, I'll tell you guys who was the salesman or PM me maybe.

I was thinking of going to North California to purchase a 6MT, but I feel that it's too far and they don't even sure if they have the color and options that I want in stock.
