If they could turn that Tiburon into an AWD car by putting an engine in the trunk I'm sure there is a way to do it with the G.

im sure it's possible, how so, not exactly sure. I suppose its rather expensive, or should I say not cost effective.

it would probably cost a whole lot since the coupe and the sedan doesn't share any framework parts nor transmission/engine components (at least that's what the service tech said) the only you could probably make that happen is if you trade in your coupe into an 05 sedan

I heard internet rumors that the drivetrain components from an FX35 can be adapted to the G. I don't know how much truth is behind it, but that could be a possibility.

Im not sure of the cost differences between converting FWD or RWD cars to AWD, but I know of RSX's that have done the conversion, so I figure its possible. This is of course knowing that you must have deep pockets for the project.

1) Both are on the FM platform
2) Both have the same VQ motor, albeit in slightly different states of tune.
3) Tranny--same auto tranny found in coupe, sedan, Q45, M35/45.

Find a new service tech.

Methinks all you need is a rolled G35X and a ton of $$$$$$.

I seriously doubt it's that simple, but thats at a high level of speculation.

One of the Japanese tuners put an R32 motor along with AWD on a 350z. I forgot which car the AWD came from, but it was one of those mini smartcars only found in Japan.
