If you drive your car hard

What are some things you would replace quite often?

Spark plugs, fluids, belt, etc?

I do a lot of WOT's and I downshift often too.

I had a Durango for about 10k miles and blew the motor on it. (I know... not mechanically educated but I'm trying to get there)

I've had the car for about 2 weeks and 3 days and put about 900 miles, and I been going at it, what should I look at as of right now?

I wanna treat it like gold but it has some decent sort of power so it's hard to not mash on the gas pedal

Long as you don't over rev you should be fine...just change oil every 3k and transmission oil at 15-20k. Check your coolant levels every now and then

As long as you take care of the fluids and don't neglect any components that go bad you'll be just fine.

Remember, cars like to be driven, not beaten on.

Bigger point is that higher revs can lead to increased oil consumption. Make sure to check oil level every fill up.

Also, as said before, regularly change all fluids. Trans, diff, coolant, PS, brake. It takes some time but very good insurance.

That's like saying "I killed my puppy the last time I hugged it really hard. What should I avoid doing for the next one?" Don't drive like a jackass -- your car's not invincible, and may consume oil if you're always on it even if it doesn't have the oil consumption issue. And you never specified what year you had which matters a bit.

I was letting you know what I had accidentally done, and I don't want it to happen again but I want to be able to race a lot.

But yeah you got me, definitely don't care at all that's why I'm asking.

06 5AT Coupe. Racing with a SUV that's not meant for it at all vs racing with a somewhat sport car is two totally different stories. Should I keep going?

Because some perceive you as being a young kid who acts irresponsibly behind the wheel. Whether or not thats true.....who knows. But your mentioning of racing certainly won't help your case any, unless of course your referring to a drag strip, road course, autocross.....etc. Those that do drive their cars "hard" don't normally boast about it on here unless they're referring to a track environment.
