Service engine soon? after oil change?

I haven't been successful with the ECU reset ( never did the SES light start blinking )
After reading more on it, I am kind of afraid to mess up the car and have it relearn all those things.
I cleaned the MAF last night and pretty well I thought. Started it up and the SES was still on.. Hm..
I'm trying my best to not have to buy a new MAF.
Any suggestions?

Go back to AutoZone and have them clear it. The SES light is cleared with the code reader. For around $55.00 you can but a decent code reader and have one of your own. I't really convenient to not have to mess around when the SES shows up...just plug in your reader...fix the problem...and clear the SES light.

Alright. I thought Auto-zone wasn't allowed too. clear codes anymore?

I don't know if they can or can't. I was just assuming that if they can read codes they can reset the SES. I have my own reader and as I said after fixing the issue I just use the reader to clear the SES. You might want to call ahead to save a trip if they won't.
