30mm spacers causing rubbing... Bad?

Hey guys,

I recently put 30mm spacers all around on my 06' coupe an I though that since I'm not lowered it wouldn't be an issue but when I have have some pretty bad rubbing, particularly when I have other people in my car or have stuff in my trunk. It honestly doesn't bother me and doesn't appear to be doing any damage.

Should I be worried Anyway? Could it be soon damge to the tires or the fender?

Thanks for any help!

Its not a major issue but something you should eventually get fixed. My front fender is slightly dented from rubbing in hard turns.

Well 30mm's are a bit big, I'd suggest rolling your rear fenders and if you really wanted, sell the 30's and grab some 20-255mm spacers. I have 25mm on a lowered G and don't rub at all!

If you're rubbing, you definitely want to fix that. It will depend on where you're rubbing and how badly it's rubbing. Fender rolling might do the trick but you need to figure out where it's rubbing first.

Otherwise you'll probably damage your tires.

You could catch the inner fender and pull part of the metal downward and in turn the fender will cut into your tires causing failure...seen that before.

30MM? That is 1.25"... wow.

I would roll the fenders or remove.

I run 25mm front and 30mm rear spacers and rubbed in the back... I rolled my fenders and it solved the problem.

Do it right and buy or rent an Eastwood Fender Roller so you dont chew up tires or damage your car.
That or go the easy way and buy a 25mm spacer!

Fender roll it, I rubbed when I went with 25mm and upped the stock tire size a bit, got them rolled and I had no problems afterwards, even when I switched to coils and went much lower (although I had a ton of camber)
